Candles of Memory

Every year, on November 1st, Polish graveyards are illuminated by the orange glow of candlelight. Hundreds of candles, on hundreds of graves, warm the faces of the men, women and children who come to visit parents, grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunts, and friends — people who were loved, and who were lost, and who live on in memories.
