The Zone

Hello! I’m Ben Sixsmith, contributing editor at The Critic. In my time, I’ve also written for The Spectator, The Spectator World, Quillette, The American Conservative, First Things, The Washington Examiner and others. THE ZONE is where I write about, well — whatever I want. This could be the culture wars. It could be geopolitics. It could be professional wrestling, Polish lager and organised crime. I hope this freer and more reflective venue enables me write some interesting, entertaining pieces. Certainly, writing them entertains me!
